Why games with low POWERSCORE® perform well in Top Grossing list occasionally?

There are usually two reasons for this kind of “overperformance”:

  1. the game spends a lot on user acquisition

  2. the game’s features are extremely well implemented.

POWERSCORE® is all about the game’s feature set and feature synergies, the so called “game DNA”. As the method is data-driven and objective, it doesn’t take into account subjective elements, such as how well the features are implemented and balanced in the game. Moreover, as our focus is solely in the game itself (i.e. the product) we don’t take into account UA and marketing effort.
