GameRefinery notifications via Slack are an excellent solution for those who want to stay informed but lack the time to browse the platform's data.

Setting up Slack notifications is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Connect GameRefinery to Slack:
    Use the native integration to connect GameRefinery to Slack. Make sure to set up a private or team channel first.

  2. Access the Slack Section:
    Navigate to the Slack section in your profile settings.

  3. Choose Notification Preferences:
    Click on Preferences and select the types of notifications you want to receive.

Here is the list of possible customizations:

Scope:

  • Game Type Preferences only:

    Receive notifications for all games or a selected category, genre, or sub-genre (requires precise selection).

  • Followed Game Only

    Ideal for those interested in insights from specific games rather than entire categories. (You must follow the selected titles first.)

  • Editorials:

    Notifications about all content and reports published on our blog.

  • Game Updates :

    Receive alerts for new update deconstructions in the Update History Update History.

    !!! Recommended for staying updated on competitors' feature additions or changes.

  • First appearance:

    Get notified when a game appears for the first time in the Top Grossing 20/50/100 charts.

  • New games analyzed:

    Alerts for newly available game deconstruction.

    !!! Recommended for tracking new or trending games.

  • Post-update:

    Notifications on KPI improvements, comparing performance 14 days before and after an update.

  • Soft launch:

    Receive alerts when a new game is added to the Soft Launch section

  • New game published:

    Notifications about new games published by renowned publishers.

  • Live events:

    Updates on new live event types in the games covered by our Event Tracker.
